I do not really like the theory so much. Analysis is good, but I feel uncomfortable about using theory in music creation. Even if it is a professional and powerful, it smells of fake. No matter how hard it is, I still want to touch the original mind. In that sense the composer's own piano performance is interesting.  Debussy, Faure, Rachmaninov, they will let you hear you directly.
