but I don't think you will - #2215 by chair house 01072020

======== my creation note today ========
“Piano Ten Thousand Leaves” Project is inspired by “Anthology of Ten Thousand Leaves”, which is the oldest existing royal collection of Japanese poetries ranging from AD347 through 759; that is 1700 years ago.
Unique feature of the original Ten Thousand Leaves is that selected Wakas are created for wide variety theme of love, beauty, tranquility, nature, death, life, illusion and family, by every layer’s men and women, from the emperors to the common people; fighter, farmer, officer, entertainer.. Indeed, this is the adolescence literature borne at the dawn of Japanese culture.
This original anthology contains 4,536 poetries, and most of them are in Waka-style which has a five-line poem with the 5-7-5-7-7 syllable structure. Limited expression; style, length, and rules, emphasizes the value of the poetry.
In my piano improvisation style I found some similarities in “Anthology of Ten Thousand Leaves”. That is, tranquil, intellectual, gentle and beautiful, short piano improvisation… Short length, original, free, spontaneous, vivid, creative, sense of love, meditative.. etc. So, as a result, I wanted to start this project.

On February 2nd, 2014:  1st tune uploaded.

On June 6th, 2019: 2,000th tune uploaded.

it lacks romance eroticism - #2214 by chair house 01062020

======== my creation note today ========
The deaf pianist of the drama "Doctor X": a miracle melody, Takashi Nanao's words, a pianist played by Shinji Takeda.

 - I know which keys on the piano will sound and how they will sound.
 - I can't hear it in my ears, but there's a sound in my head.
 - What kind of sound is reaching my heart in the heart of the woman? . .
 - I can hear it for sure. My sound reached the heart of the woman. .
 - That's an irreplaceable moment of bliss for me, who chose life as a musician. .

I felt his idea was the same as my idea.

and forced me to go with you - #2213 by chair house 01052020

======== my creation note today ========
Miyamoto's Kinshuu is a letter-based novel. In a very long exchange of letters after an accidental reunion at the top of the ropeway that was Zao, the present and future of the two separated can be seen. Aside from that, it's practically difficult to make such a long letter, but it still has the advantage that the letter is valid even if the two are far apart. Its content has the power to completely exceed the time and space. Even after 40 years, that feeling remains. "Hal" is an exchange of e-mails via PC communication before the Internet spread. . This is very tempo, realistic and you can see the movement of the two hearts in your hand. . Mobile email has a limited number of characters, but it's probably the right length. It will work even a little further away, and its power will be huge. If it is an SMS-based communication method such as "LINE", it may be too short as "Drama: Nige Haji" and its meaning may be unclear for the audience. . It must have been close to them.

if you took me in your arms and carried me - #2212 by chair house 01042020

======== my creation note today ========
I have a collection of essays called Visions in Time by Toru Takemitsu, a famous Japanese composer. In the past, I received a book that had been discarded at a library and turned into a recycled book. I was starting to find the text that the music creator wrote about the creative work, and this book is one of my nice books. In it, one truth was described for me. A statement that everything in the world is anonymous in the sentence "The Growing Water Ring". "The nature around humans and the whole world are in anonymous state. When humans name or call them, such anonymous things come back as human property. Assimilate with it. ”I realized that I had read this sentence. Is that so. . That's right. . That means. My songs come from my heart. My heart is the heart that is truly natural. . Anyway, I am only an adult male as a human being as a living thing. The gentle movement of emotion in a certain time that descends into the universal that is inherent in that natural thing. It was suddenly understood that it was the "nature around humans" described by Toru Takemitsu. That's right. This feeling is exactly the feeling when creating a song. The songs come to human possession only when you name them. What is this? . It fits well with "Perception of the evanescence of life, Mujo-kan", and maybe it is full of "Appreciation of the fleeting nature of beauty, Mono no Aware".

and the power would die with it - #2211 by chair house 01032020

======== my creation note today ========
I like used bookstores and love visiting used bookstores. I used to live in an area with a lot of used bookstores, but unfortunately the frequency of visits has decreased recently. Still, I often go to used bookstores. Ordinary new bookstores basically have only new books. It means that old books are returned and only the latest ones are lined up throughout the store. So every new bookstore is the same. On the other hand, the nice thing about secondhand bookstores is that they are filled with old books full of various histories. That is why every secondhand bookstore is filled with a different cultural history. The great thing about books is that they contain everything from when the book was published, so a used bookstore is a truly wonderful universe of culture.

I cannot think of restraining you for a moment - #2210 by chair house 01022020

======== my creation note today ========
Bill Evans wrote about Japanese aesthetic value in his liner notes for "Kind of Blue" album.
"There is a Japanese visual art in which the artist is forced to be spontaneous. He must paint on a thin stretched parchment with a special brush and black water paint in such a way that an unnatural or interrupted stroke will destroy the line or break through the parchment. Erasures or changes are impossible. These artists must practice a particular discipline, that of allowing the idea to express itself in communication with their hands in such a direct way that deliberation cannot interfere.
The resulting pictures lack the complex composition and textures of ordinary painting, but it is said that those who see well find something captured that escapes explanation. ... "
SOMETHING is a key for Japanese aesthetic value I believe. I'm always searching for it.. Happy if I could get it in future, and it is my goal.. : )
This conviction that direct deed is the most meaningful reflections, I believe, has prompted the evolution of the extremely severe and unique disciplines of the jazz or improvising musician.

as you say it is - #2209 by chair house 01012020

======== my creation note today ========
It often plays a few seconds of sound at the beginning. It is also a single note. . The sound space currently used has a lot of reverberation, so if you are careless, the sound will be muffled and too blurry. Still, I use this setting because each sound is overwhelmingly beautiful, including its reverberation. It is my role to listen to this sound, play the expected sound that leads to it, and let the flow let out a beautiful sound flow. . Simple, quiet, calm, intelligent, gentle, and beautiful sound flow. . Strangely, you can't see the value of the song while you play. . What you think is pretty good while playing is often not very good as a result. On the other hand, when you play it, there are things that you don't feel very good, but that you can check later. . This area can be very deep and interesting. As I mentioned a little about the settings of the sounds I use, let me explain that I think that by encountering this app and its settings, I started the challenge of 4536 songs in the piano manyoshu project. I really appreciate everyone who has planned and developed this app. Full digital piano performance with the most beautiful tone in human history is possible. However, we need a period of time for the Oriental Zodiac to rotate, so I believe it will be difficult to maintain the continuity of apps, systems and machines.
