The simpler the better. It seems paradoxical, but there are parts that I think so. People are more likely to evaluate something by deducting points. If you take a long time and create a perfect part, there will be a few imperfections that will pull you down and lower the overall rating. Is aiming at a higher level with fewer elements an obscene technique to avoid it?
