======== my creation note today ========

The state in which I am listening and playing is an important setting factor. This is pretty difficult. Especially the volume. There are three volumes to note. (1) First, the sound emitted from the piano changes depending on the volume of the performance, that is, the speed at which the keys of the piano are pressed. Although it is digital software, it is well made and uses data recorded with strong and weak sounds, so it changes to real. (2) The second is the volume to be played to listen while playing. Well this is difficult. ③ The third is the volume when playing and listening. Of these, ① and ② are integrated into a closed loop in a real-time music creation system. I am of course a major component of the music creation system. Real-time music creation is a closed-loop activity in which you feel in your heart, play with your finger, listen to that performance with your ear, feel in your heart, and play the next with your finger. The problem is that the volume of the sound you hear with your ears is not determined solely by the strength of your playing finger. It is also affected by the volume played in ②. This is largely determined by the volume you want to hear with your ears while playing. But there is no such thing as the strength of the performance. Therefore, if the playback volume of ② is high, you will play the performance volume of ① weakly. However, the sound that comes out of the piano changes not only the volume but also the sound quality depending on whether you play softly or strongly. So even if the volume becomes constant, the sound quality changes. In other words, it all depends on how the sound rises and cuts, how beautiful the chords are, and how to listen to the pedals. So the problem with two setting volumes always has an essential problem. You may think that it can be reproduced because it is all digital software processing, but somehow the important volume memory is analog. There is no digital value. This may be a problem specific to the piano sound source you are using, but it is a problem. So I always have a memory angle of about 105 degrees or keep the original template file unchanged. Well this was a chat note for myself.
